Homecoming

Joya is returning home on sudden notice. She was told that her father was very sick. Is it just sickness or is there something more than that? Her uncle has come to the college hostel to take her back home. The story takes place during the period of her journey. She goes through the flashbacks and memories of her life. The dreams of the family and all the pain and struggle of helplessness come to her mind in sequence. We don’t know, what will be the consequences of this journey. She is not even sure that she will be able to return. Even though she doesn’t want to think about it, she prepares herself to face an infallible unknown destiny that awaits her. The world around her, all the sights and sounds of her surroundings, make her ready for stepping into the next phase of life- another uncertainty. The world of Jaya’s mind opens up in front of us through the pieces of memories in this story as she prepares herself to face her destiny.
